One of the greatest Bollywood actor, Dilip Kumar who is in his late 80s, was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Sunday. Dilip Kumar was suffering from high fever for couple of days and after proper investigation it was diagnosed that he has been suffering from malaria.
A source close to the family said: "Since the fever was not subsiding, the family decided to admit him to hospital so that proper investigations can be conducted. Now, the doctors have confirmed that his condition is stable and he is on the road to recovery"
The actor was admitted to Apollo Hospital in New Delhi in September 2008 due to complications resulting from a urinary tract infection added the source
However, Dr Jalil Parker, who treated Kumar at the hospital, said, “The condition of the actor is now stable and he will be discharged from the hospital within 2-3 days.”
