What would you do, if you receive a phone call from yourself? Quite puzzling, isn’t? Such would be our discombobulated Farhan Akhtar in his next ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’. The film boasts abouta man who gets phone calls from himself, one never knows what to expect when the clock strikes five... and the phone rings.
‘Karthik Calling Karthik’ is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, under the banner of Excel Entertainment and co-produced by Amit Chandrra and Vijay Lalwani, under the banner of Magic Beans.
Vijay Lalwani wields megaphone for this flick penning an unusual script starring Farhan Akhtar, Deepika Padukone, Ram Kapoor and Shefali Shah in lead roles.
Farhan’s favorite trio-combo Shankar-Ehasan-Loy has scored music to the lyrics of his papa Javed Akhtar’s lyrical lines with Sano Varghese cranking the camera.
The film is slated to release on 12th February 2010
